About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Immunisation Nurse to join our team at Vaccination UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality immunisation services to children in schools and community clinic settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver immunisation services to children in schools and community clinic settings, adhering to national guidelines and protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with Programme Managers, Team Leads, and Clinical Leads to ensure smooth service delivery and achieve organisational goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with school staff, parents, and caregivers to promote the importance of immunisation and address any concerns or questions.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and performance management to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of immunisation programmes and services, including audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Nurses and Midwives currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Nursing and/or Midwifery Qualification
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and working within PGD frameworks
  • Understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule and principles of informed consent
  • Computer literacy and ability to manage cold chain, ordering, and arranging transport
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills
  • Customer service and people management skills
  • Assertive, team player, and critical thinker
