About the Position:

Trevett Professional Services Ltd seeks a skilled Mechanical Plant Technician to manage boiler maintenance, introduce efficient systems, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Description:
  • Perform routine PPMs and emergency repairs across the site.
  • Oversee the maintenance of boilers and other gas-related equipment to prevent breakdowns.
  • Develop and implement systems to enhance machinery efficiency and reliability.
  • Enforce adherence to health and safety guidelines, guaranteeing all equipment meets regulatory standards.
  • Ensure safe operations on LTHW Boilers according to current legislation.
  • Identify and resolve minor faults and defects promptly.
  • Control chemical use in accordance with COSHH protocols.
  • Supervise contractors working on the boiler house and plant rooms.
  • Prepare detailed reports on mechanical performance across the site.
Requirements:
  • Substantial prior experience working with industrial boilers.
  • Mechanical qualification or equivalent training.
  • Experience handling PPMs across diverse sites.
  • Strong organisational skills for managing varied workloads.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Professional demeanour when interacting with internal and external clients.
  • Competence in utilising Trend Building Energy Management System.
  • Basic IT literacy.
