Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the Theatre Team, ensuring the day-to-day organisation and management of care provision within the clinical area. They will work closely with the Head of Ops to develop services and meet departmental objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Theatre Utilisation and Performance: Optimise the provision of resources to ensure effective theatre utilisation and performance across all areas of the department.
  • Leadership and Development: Provide clear direction and leadership to the Theatre Team, promoting a positive culture and empowering staff through training and education.
  • Clinical Practice and Governance: Maintain clinical skills and ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation, and regulations.
  • Delegation and Decision-Making: Deputise for the Head of Operations in their absence and take responsibility for daily service delivery.
  • Team Building and Morale: Foster a cohesive and supportive working environment, promoting effective team building strategies and involving staff in decision-making.

As a Theatre Operations Manager at King Healthcare Ltd., you will be responsible for optimising theatre utilisation, ensuring effective team leadership, and maintaining high clinical standards. You will work closely with the senior staff team to develop services and meet departmental objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • NMC or HCPC registration
  • At least 5 years of experience in an Operating Theatre environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate leadership in a theatre setting
