Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our team at Tate. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance team, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process loan applications, liaising with customers and brokers to obtain necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate property valuations, communicating with valuers to obtain additional information as required.
  • Ensure all documents are attached to relevant cases for underwriting.
  • Act on incoming post, acknowledging offers where necessary.
  • Conduct searches, such as land registry and credit checks, as required.
  • Dispatch mortgage offers and solicitor instructions following approval.
  • Respond to customer, intermediary, or solicitor inquiries via email or phone, in liaison with the New Business department as needed.
  • Support the Completions Officer with mortgage officer administration post-underwriting.
  • Administer post-contract variations, issuing documentation to customers and updating internal systems.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Accurate and efficient administration skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and systems.
  • Good teamworking abilities.
  • Initiative to work independently and manage workload.
