Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Careers Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to foster carers, helping them navigate the complexities of the fostering process.
Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality support and guidance to foster carers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- To work closely with foster carers, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the needs of children and young people are met.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, child care, education).
- Proven experience of working with vulnerable children and young people, either in a direct or indirect capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with foster carers, social workers, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Children Act 1989 and the Fostering Services Regulations 2011.
