Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Merton. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to a child with an EHCP who is non-verbal. This will involve working closely with the Reception class team to develop and implement personalized learning plans and strategies to meet the child's unique needs.

Key Tasks:

  • Supporting the child on a 1:1 basis with their daily needs.
  • Assisting with lesson planning and implementation.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
