Job Title: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Merton

Estimated Salary:$30,000 - $40,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join our academic Primary School in the Borough of Merton. As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with the Reception class team to support a child with an EHCP who is non-verbal on a 1:1 basis.

About the Child:

  • The child has an EHCP due to being non-verbal.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the child on a 1:1 basis with their daily needs.
  • Assisting with lesson planning and implementation.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
