Resident Engineer

About the Role:
Crown Lift Trucks Ltd is seeking a skilled Resident Engineer to join their team. As a Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites
- Maintain documentation of all works carried out in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures
- Work to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at customer premises
- Monitor site stock and ensure sufficient stock for day-to-day maintenance of the fleet
- Carry out inspections and monitor the safety of repaired and maintained trucks
- Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets, and purchase requisition and parts paperwork within required timescales
Requirements:
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work to a high standard and meet deadlines
- Commitment to continuing personal and professional development
