Portfolio Management Specialist

At Stern Energy, we are seeking a skilled Junior Portfolio Manager to join our team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing company that specializes in operating ground-mounted photovoltaic systems across the UK and Europe.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of portfolio activities related to contract requirements. This includes preparing and managing schedules, requesting call-outs to field engineers, contract management, budgeting, creating and managing work orders, reporting activities, liaising with clients, and arranging site activities.
We are looking for someone with experience in the photovoltaic business or a similar role, who has good knowledge of MS Office tools, PV monitoring systems, HSE and CDM regulations, and fluency in English language.
Main Responsibilities- Schedule Management: Prepare and manage agreed schedules to fulfill contractual obligations.
- Field Engineer Coordination: Request call-outs to field engineers to fulfill response times guaranteed.
- Contract Management: Manage scope of work of operation and maintenance agreements to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Budget Management: Create budget and manage minor construction projects for corrective maintenance and site improvements.
- Work Order Management: Create tickets for field service engineers based on alerts received from the monitoring team and from other contractual obligations.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly technical reports to present performance of the assets and of the activities conducted.
- Experience in the photovoltaic business or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Knowledge of PV monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of HSE and CDM regulations.
- Fluent in English language.
- A competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
