Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Practitioner to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis Service. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with individuals experiencing psychosis, providing high-quality care and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions to individuals experiencing psychosis, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and carers, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with best practice and meet the needs of our service users.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure that our service users receive the best possible care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early intervention in psychosis.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work autonomously, with a high degree of self-motivation and a willingness to take on new challenges.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good IT skills, with experience of using electronic patient records and other healthcare software.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of working in a community mental health setting, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals experiencing psychosis.
- Knowledge of the principles of early intervention in psychosis, including the importance of early detection and treatment.
- Ability to work in a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership working.
