We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead and execute sourcing, contracting, and supply management activities across all Caravan-related spend areas, including decking and maintenance. This is a key category for our business, and you will work with stakeholders across the operation.
Your Opportunity- Lead and develop the Caravans category, including developing and executing new opportunities to deliver continuous improvement across the supply base.
- Develop the commercial relationship with suppliers.
- Take accountability for going to market, sourcing, procuring, negotiating, contracting, and ongoing category management of all supplier spend in their categories.
- Work with stakeholders to assist them in determining business needs/specification and develop appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Ensure in-depth understanding of aftersales relating to each manufacturer performance and act as a point of escalation for parks.
- Sourcing, contracting, and category management experience.
- Knowledge of caravans and their manufacture, maintenance, and operation.
- Advanced stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across multiple different areas and many stakeholders.
- Comprehensive experience across the full procurement spectrum, with food and beverage experience.
