Job Summary:

EdEx - Education Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Creative Therapy Assistant. This role is ideal for a graduate with a background in Creative Arts, Drama, or Music who is passionate about bringing creativity into education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of creative arts programs for students in EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate creative therapies into the primary curriculum
  • Design and deliver engaging and interactive activities that promote social and emotional development
  • Work with students with mild SEN, including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and speech and language issues
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Creative Arts, Drama, or Music
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative ideas
  • Passion for bringing creativity into education
