About Us: GAP Group LTD is a leading provider of lifting equipment and accessories in the UK. Our TIC team manages and schedules the Test, Inspection and Certification of lifting and working at height equipment.
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Industry Engineer to join our team in the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, inspecting, and repairing Overhead Cranes, Electric Chain Hoists, Jib Cranes, and other lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, inspecting, and repairing lifting equipment
- Managing and scheduling maintenance activities
- Ensuring compliance with LOLER/PUWER regulations
Requirements:
- Experience as a Crane Engineer/Lifting Engineer/Fitter/Hoist Operator
- Competent in the inspection of lifting equipment
- LEEA qualifications desirable
Salary and Benefits: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + benefits including company van, up to 25 days annual leave, contributory pension scheme, and life assurance.
