About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill this position, with a strong background in driving instruction and waste management. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the business. They will also possess strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring driver compliance across various areas, including WTD, tachographs, licence checks, toolbox talks, and FORS cyclical requirements. You will also assist in the organization of periodic training, including Driver CPC qualification, ADR training as required, vehicle cross-training, and annual driving assessments.

The ideal candidate will have a LGV license, be a qualified driving instructor or minimum driving assessor, and have good verbal and written communication skills. They will also be IT literate and have the ability to mentor, coach, and train others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure driver compliance across various areas, including WTD, tachographs, licence checks, toolbox talks, and FORS cyclical requirements.
  • Assist in the organization of periodic training, including Driver CPC qualification, ADR training as required, vehicle cross-training, and annual driving assessments.
  • Support the Service Delivery Managers in ensuring driver compliance and assist in any ad-hoc training needs.
  • Manage and drive vehicle telematics to improve driving behaviors and associated costs, through driver engagement and appropriate training.
  • Perform administrative duties as necessary, including maintaining accurate records and reports.
