Class 2 Hgv Trade Waste Drivers

**Contract**: Full-time/ Permanent

**Salary**: OTE £40k

**Hours**: 45

**Overview of Role**

Due to continued growth, we have a number of opportunities for Class 2 HGV / LGV Cat C Drivers to join our team in Nottingham on the Night shift commencing at 14:00 for a 45-hour-a-week shift.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure vehicle and plant are safe to operate
- Operate vehicle to achieve maximum efficiency
- Compliance with legislation -driver hours, highway regulations
- Vehicle security including equipment & plant
- Maintenance of mandatory driver/vehicle records
- Care of duty to self & others
- Ensure vehicle and cab are kept clean

**Key Competencies**:

- Class 2 LGV driving licence
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- A professional and organized approach
- Good time management/ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication skills
- Displays initiative
- Self-motivated/stand-alone capabilities
