About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Assistant to join our team at our base maintenance facility in Bournemouth. As a Stores Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient inventory controls in compliance with aviation maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and prioritize booking in all incoming goods.
  • Control and maintain inventory and van stock records.
  • Issue stock and tooling efficiently.
  • Monitor and prevent consumable stock shortages.
  • Accurately record all stock movements in the networked system.
  • Raise and manage orders from approved suppliers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Ensure timely availability of parts for Maintenance.
  • Facilitate parts movement between facilities and restock company vans.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering and planning departments.
About You
  • Experience within an aircraft maintenance organization is preferable but not essential.
  • Possessing a full UK driving license, you have the unrestricted ability to travel as needed.
  • Demonstrating a strong passion for providing excellent customer service is crucial for this role.
  • You are adept at planning and prioritizing effectively, ensuring efficient task management.
  • Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent, enabling you to convey information clearly.
  • With a keen sense of diligence and high levels of integrity, you consistently demonstrate professionalism.
  • Your self-motivation and ability to work independently without supervision are notable strengths. You maintain a positive attitude, effectively employing problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve issues promptly.
