We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Analyst to work alongside a large-scale client in the public sector. This role demands a sharp eye for detail, strong linguistic proficiency, and a solid grasp of transcription standards to uphold the highest levels of accuracy, reliability, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcription Quality Assurance: Evaluate AI-generated court transcripts to verify they meet rigorous accuracy standards, including correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting.
  • Audio Verification: Cross-check transcripts against original audio recordings to ensure transcription accuracy, confirming that all information is captured correctly and nothing is omitted.
  • Error Identification & Correction: Detect and rectify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and omissions, such as misinterpretations, incorrect phrases, or missing details, to maintain transcript integrity.
  • Feedback & Reporting: Provide comprehensive feedback on identified issues, recommend areas for improvement, track AI performance trends, and generate reports on accuracy and quality metrics. Collaborate with AI development teams to enhance system outcomes.
  • Compliance with Legal Standards: Ensure that transcripts conform to legal standards and are suitable for use in court or legal proceedings.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes, workflows, and tools to continuously improve transcription accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in transcription quality assurance or a similar role.
  • Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot subtle transcription errors.
  • Experience with legal transcripts or audio recordings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in audio editing software or tools used for transcript verification.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise reports on performance and accuracy metrics.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • A legal background or experience in the legal field is a plus.
