About the Role:
MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading FMCG business to find a skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a permanent role based in Bathgate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support line change-overs
- Contribute to the delivery of the Engineering department's vision and strategic plan
- Maintain production OEE to meet site KPI targets
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement within the engineering environment
- Adhere to and support factory-wide systems for compliance with company policies and statutory regulations for health, safety, and environment
- Collaborate with relevant parties to aid in the planning and support of all capital engineering projects
- Be a proactive team player who can build effective credibility quickly within the peer group
Requirements:
- FMCG experience is essential
- Educated to HNC level or equivalent, or time served is essential
- Mechanical or Electrical bias, with a willingness to learn the alternate discipline
- Experience with TPM and CMMS systems is preferred
Working Hours:
3 shift pattern (weekly alternating Days/Lates/Nights)
Salary:
Circa £42,000
