Nurse Seekers is a leading provider of rehabilitation services, seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a key member of our interdisciplinary team. About the Position

  • We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialist assessment and intervention to help clients regain independence, including vocational rehabilitation for returning to work or study.
  • You will work collaboratively with clients, carers, and families to set client-centered goals and deliver tailored treatment plans, contributing to the development and integration of evidence-based practice into our service.
  • This role requires strong communication skills to liaise with clients, families, and external organizations, with a commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
  • You will supervise rehabilitation assistants and students while participating in interdisciplinary and multi-agency teams, staying informed on developments in ABI rehabilitation and participating in audit and research activities.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Deliver high-quality therapy using clinical reasoning, experience, and reflective practice, engaging with families and carers to maximize client independence.
  • Perform risk assessments and home visits as needed, ensuring excellent clinical record-keeping and producing detailed reports.
  • Actively contribute to training sessions for carers, families, employers, and other stakeholders, participating in the evaluation and introduction of new technology and resources.
  • You will be required to stay informed on developments in ABI rehabilitation and participate in audit and research activities, contributing to the development and integration of evidence-based practice into our service.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
