Support Worker - Evening Shift

Corus Consultancy is seeking a skilled Support Worker to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to vulnerable adults with complex needs, including substance use, offending, mental ill health, and housing issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold a caseload of key clients and conduct regular key working sessions to develop outcome-focused support plans.
  • Produce comprehensive risk assessments and risk management plans to ensure client safety.
  • Identify and report safeguarding concerns, and follow up with relevant authorities.
  • Promote recovery-focused activities, including social activities, exercise, and healthy eating.
  • Support clients to access housing options and overcome obstacles to settled accommodation.
  • Participate in running activities or small groups to meet client needs.
  • Assist clients in accessing education, training, or employment opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults with complex needs.
  • Knowledge of supporting clients into supported accommodation or move-on options.
  • Understanding of housing and related legislation.
  • Experience working with clients who have experienced multiple disadvantages.
  • Ability to work effectively with partner agencies and develop networks.
  • Understanding of assessment, risk, and planned support principles.
  • Basic numeracy, literacy, and comprehension skills for data input and computer use.
