Job Title: Assistant Building Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Building Manager to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Building Manager with the day-to-day management and operational activities of our building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Building Manager with the management of onsite personnel, ensuring adherence to health and safety, environmental, and company procedures.
  • Ensure the fabric of the building is maintained and serviced to a high standard, in accordance with the management contract and agreed budgets.
  • Assist with the drafting, control, and reporting of the service charge budget and expenditure for the site.
  • Carry out regular inspection audits of the site and take remedial action as required.
  • Work with the Building Manager, key stakeholders, and external clients to ensure a maintenance and repair programme is in place.
  • Participate in regular tenant meetings and assist with the production of management reports.
  • Oversee and review the work carried out by contractors to ensure required standards are achieved and maintained.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working within a facilities environment in a supervisory or management role.
  • Knowledge of the technical aspects of premises management.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
