Pre-Construction Technical Coordinator

LNT Care Developments, the UK's leading Care Home developer, is seeking a skilled Pre-Construction Technical Coordinator to support the Pre-Construction function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Technical Manager and Development Director in the Pre-Construction function.
  • Manage technical project documentation and undertake administrative tasks.
  • Assist in the production of technical reports and contract drawings, requiring proficiency in CAD.
  • Review, interpret, and summarise drawings, specifications, site investigations, topographical surveys, ecological documents, and other assessment reports.
  • Identify financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities.
  • Negotiate with statutory bodies on environmental, drainage, highways, and other engineering issues.
  • Collaborate with the pre-construction team to support project planning and ensure timelines and key milestones are achieved.
  • Work closely with internal colleagues and external professionals to support the overall success of the project.
  • Participate in quality control processes, reviewing project deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
  • Attend internal launch and handover meetings alongside the Planning and Construction departments.
  • Implement new ideas and methods to improve contribution to the organisation's goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use initiative to gain information on a project or widen own knowledge.

    Knowledge & Experience:

    • The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in pre-construction and development, preferably within the Residential sector.
    • Experience of assisting with coordinating a wide variety of projects and dealing with volume.
    • Ability to prioritise, negotiate, motivate, and communicate.
    • Good time management, organisation, attention to detail, and ability to participate in meetings.
    • Awareness and basic understanding of planning, financial, and legal processes.
    • Good communication and negotiation skills.

    Good IT literacy in Word, Excel, and emails.
