Pre-Construction Technical Coordinator Specialist

LNT Group is seeking a skilled Pre-Construction Technical Coordinator to support the development of new care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Technical Manager and Development Director to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage technical project documentation and undertake administrative tasks to maintain project efficiency.
  • Assist in the production of technical reports and contract drawings, requiring proficiency in CAD software.
  • Review, interpret, and summarise drawings, specifications, site investigations, topographical surveys, ecological documents, and other assessment reports.
  • Identify financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities.
  • Negotiate with statutory bodies on environmental, drainage, highways, and engineering issues.
  • Work closely with the pre-construction team to support project planning, ensuring timelines and key milestones are achieved.
  • Participate in quality control processes, reviewing project deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
  • Attend internal launch and handover meetings alongside the Planning and Construction departments.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in pre-construction and development, preferably within the Residential sector.
  • Ability to prioritise, negotiate, motivate, and communicate effectively.
  • Good time management, organisation, attention to detail, and ability to work to restrictive deadlines.
  • Awareness and basic understanding of planning, financial, and legal processes.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
