Job Opportunity

The Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Assistant Professor in Climate, Environment and Urban Policy with a focus on Energy and Climate. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and teaching of the new MSt in Climate, Environment and Urban Policy programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver teaching for the new MSt programme
  • Contribute to other teaching in the Department where appropriate
  • Undertake primarily quantitative or mixed-methods research in one or more of the disciplinary areas in Land Economy applied to energy, climate systems and sustainability transitions
  • Identify sources of funding for research and build on and expand the Department's network of contacts working in those areas
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field
  • International standing in research
  • Ability to contribute collegially to the life of the Department
  • Flexible approach to teaching and administrative duties
