Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Gate Engineer/Automatic Door Engineer to join our team at Jark - Stevenage. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial door systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial door systems, including automatic doors, gates, and barriers.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure door systems are functioning correctly and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating hinges and replacing worn parts.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to identify and resolve any issues with door systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in gate engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial door systems and their components.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English.
  • Physical stamina to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel to various sites.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000.
  • Door-to-door pay, time and a half, and double time rates paid.
