About The Role

Overview

Ekfb, a joint venture between international market leaders eiffage, kier, ferrovial construction and bam nuttall, is proud to have been appointed by hs2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the chiltern tunnel and long itchington wood.

We're looking for a site engineer to join our team based at greatworth, responsible for on-site management of junior engineers and assisting in construction operations in the southam area.

You will liaise with the sub-agent and section foreman to allocate labour, plant, and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme, and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors to ensure they meet contractual requirements
  • Assisting with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contributing to financial forecasting
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on project progress
  • Coordinating with other teams to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements
  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent, with working towards institute membership (ice)
  • CSCS - White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager, or Gold - Supervisor certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of site engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
  • Experience in earthworks, essential for this position
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
