Lead Masterplanning Officer

Join our team at Urban Design Group as a Lead Masterplanning Officer and play a key role in shaping the future of our communities. We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead the preparation of the Bold Forest Garden Village Masterplan Framework and subsequent site delivery.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project that will have a significant impact on the development of the Liverpool City Region. As a Lead Masterplanning Officer, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to deliver a high-quality, well-designed, and sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of the Bold Forest Garden Village Masterplan Framework
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a high-quality development
  • Manage technical consultants in the detailed masterplanning work
  • Develop and implement a project management plan to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and the public
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Relevant experience in masterplanning and urban design
  • Knowledge of current planning legislation, guidance, and procedures
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of working in a town planning team or related environment
