Lead Masterplanning Officer

Join our team at the Urban Design Group as we seek a highly skilled and experienced Lead Masterplanning Officer to lead the preparation of the Bold Forest Garden Village Masterplan Framework and subsequent site delivery.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to lead work on the preparation of the Bold Forest Garden Village Masterplan Framework and subsequent site delivery. The successful candidate will have a strong background in masterplanning, with experience in project management, collaborative working, and liaison with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of the Bold Forest Garden Village Masterplan Framework
  • Manage technical consultants in the detailed masterplanning work
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including members of the public and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other teams to deliver the project

Requirements

  • Relevant current planning legislation, guidance, and procedures
  • Knowledge of masterplanning principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
