We are seeking a skilled Systems Modelling and Simulation Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work on-site in Stevenage or Bristol, developing and maintaining performance models of advanced seeker RF Radar systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Modelling in MATLAB and Simulink using model-based design techniques
  2. Producing components of a complex Seeker model, including target scenario, seeker hardware, and processor algorithms
  3. Developing and implementing algorithms within the model
  4. Producing and verifying auto-code for the software algorithms from the model
  5. Carrying out seeker performance assessments
  6. Creating simpler representations of the model for incorporation into the missile model
  7. Updating legacy Seeker models in Statemate (optional)
  8. Documenting model changes and creating test vectors
Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in Simulink and MATLAB
  2. Experience in modelling for auto-coding
  3. Ability to assess the suitability of algorithms within the model
  4. Aptitude for converting algorithms into Simulink models (desirable)
  5. Familiarity with Radar and Control Systems (desirable)
  6. Understanding of Digital Signal Processing (desirable)
  7. RF experience (desirable)
  8. Technical report writing skills
  9. Proven experience in model delivery
  10. Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced team
