Job Description:

A challenging yet rewarding role has become available for an experienced SEN Support Professional to join our dynamic team at a leading nursery in Kettering.

About the Nursery

The nursery focuses on child-led learning, with an emphasis on learning through play. Over a third of the cohort have SEN or additional needs, ranging from suspected ASD to severe complex needs.

This presents a unique opportunity for an SEN Support Professional to make a real difference in the lives of these children.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide tailored support to children with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  2. Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging, child-led activities that promote learning through play.
  3. Work closely with the nursery team to create an inclusive and supportive environment.
  4. Monitor and record the progress of SEN learners, adapting strategies as necessary.
  5. Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's development.
