Educational Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Educational Support Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with SEN/SEMH needs, and be able to provide high-impact, 1:1 tuition in Maths and English.

About the Job:
  • Work with primary or secondary children who may have SEN/SEMH needs or are looked after (LAC).
  • Provide educational sessions face-to-face with children at their homes or a public space (e.g., library, community centre).
  • Plan resources around the child's needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science.
Requirements:
  • Have QTS or be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or have SEN/SEMH experience.
  • Be highly engaging and able to build effective working relationships with children.
Salary and Benefits:

Hourly rate of £25-£30, paid weekly. Benefits include access to an increased volume of tuition work, face-to-face and online tuition options, bespoke online reporting platform, online classroom platform, and free safeguarding and CPD courses.
