About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Eye Unit at Benenden Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of care to our patients, following hospital guidelines and protocols.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and preparing theatre lists
  • Entering patient information on IT systems
  • Maintaining patient care areas and ensuring they are safe and well-maintained
  • Supervising junior members of the team and providing clinical supervision

Requirements:

  • First-level Registered Nurse qualification
  • Ophthalmic experience desirable, but not essential
  • Willingness to undertake Ophthalmic training
  • Excellent organisational planning and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Sound computer skills
