Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at RHL Recruitment. As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of mechanical systems and ensuring the efficient management and distribution of bulk fuel.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in maintenance, root cause fault analysis, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be responsible for performing maintenance and operational tasks on COMAH Top Tier and Lower Tier storage Terminals and pipeline systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain mechanical systems and ensure plant availability
  • Develop and implement maintenance and inspection procedures
  • Perform maintenance and operational tasks on bulk fuel storage and pipeline systems
  • Participate in out-of-hours call-out roster for trouble shooting and corrective maintenance
  • Attain and maintain competency to work on high-pressure systems transporting flammable substances

Requirements:

  • Recognised professional qualification in a relevant mechanical discipline or extensive experience
  • Experience in maintenance, root cause fault analysis, and ability to work under pressure
  • Full driving licence
