Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at a highly successful bulk fuel operations company. This dynamic position offers the chance to contribute to the efficient management and distribution of bulk fuel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of mechanical systems and oversee the development of a system for recording maintenance and inspection on plant and equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and operational tasks on COMAH Top Tier and Lower Tier storage Terminals and pipeline systems, ensuring plant availability.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours call-out roster for trouble shooting and corrective maintenance, including night working.
  • Attain and maintain competency to work on high-pressure systems transporting flammable substances.
  • Complete maintenance, testing, and adjustments on mechanical systems, including high-pressure pipework, pumps, and bulk storage tanks.

Requirements:

  • A recognised professional qualification in a relevant Mechanical discipline to NVQ level 3 or equivalent standard, or extensive demonstrable experience in lieu of this.
  • Experience of maintenance, root cause fault analysis, and ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency situations.
  • Full Driving Licence.
