Facilities Maintenance Operative

Pertemps is currently recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Operative for our client based in Kettering.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Security: Ensure the physical security of all assets, provide a visible security presence, and record all subcontractors and visitors on site.
  • Building Maintenance: Maintain, decorate, and perform minor repairs to plant equipment, furniture, fixtures, gutters, fittings, and the building fabric.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Keep hard areas, grassed areas, drives, surrounds, and grounds neat and free of litter, cut and tend hedges and grass, control weeds, and maintain flower and shrub beds and borders.
  • Portering: Provide portering services between departments, deliver parcels, complete office moves, empty recycling and waste bins, and set up rooms for college activities.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Facilities/Maintenance role.
  • A British driving licence.
