Job Title: SEN Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced SEN Support Worker to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Bromley on a full-time, long-term basis.

About the Role:
  • Delivering tailored interventions and structured routines to foster engagement and independence.
  • Using specialist communication tools like PECs and Makaton to support students' learning and communication.
  • Assisting with personal care and adapting activities to meet physical or sensory needs.
  • Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, and families to support individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Implementing positive behavior management strategies to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
  • Leading sensory and therapeutic activities to support students' holistic development.

Salary: £85-£95 per day

About You:
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has proven experience supporting children with complex SEN needs in primary settings.
  • Is proficient in PECs, Makaton, and other adaptive communication strategies.
  • Demonstrates empathy, resilience, and a passion for inclusion.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to support others.

Location: Bromley. Estimated salary: £43,000 - £47,400 per annum.
