Head Horticulturist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Horticulturist to join our team at Organic Growers Alliance in East Sussex. As a key member of our market garden project, you will be responsible for developing and implementing crop plans, managing the site, and driving business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic horticulture, market garden crop planning, and team management. You will be able to analyze data, make informed decisions, and contribute to business success.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Develop and implement crop plans that meet business objectives
• Manage and maintain the site to optimize productivity
• Train and develop team members to improve performance
• Engage with the public to promote the business

Requirements:

• Strong background in organic horticulture and market garden crop planning
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Positive engagement with the public

Salary: £25,000 + p/a depending on experience + 28 days paid holiday & pension scheme.
