We are seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Professional to join our team at Polaris Community in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and contribute to their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily routines and domestic duties, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for young people.
  • Encourage and support young people in developing their interests and skills, through planning and participating in activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assess individual needs and contribute to care and risk plans.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with young people, promoting trust and confidence.

Salary Range:

The salary for this role is up to £29,898.24 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare or a related field.
  • Level 5 qualification or equivalent in childcare or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and young people.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning processes.
