We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Hull Broker to join our Global Broking Centre team in London. As a Client Manager/Broker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of client accounts, including client retention objectives, new business development, and coordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client/network engagement:
    • Completion of Initial engagement and cover confirmation to Clients and/or Networks.
    • Relationship development/management (clients and/or network).
    • Understanding the Client's business and insurance requirements and providing technical advice to Clients/Networks.
    • Setting insurance program and placement strategy with the client in conjunction with Networks.
    • Analysing data and preparing submissions/presentations to Markets/Clients and/or Networks.
    • Present terms to Clients and/or Networks, including both offensive and defensive RFP responses.
  • Market Broking:
    • Assist in preparing marketing strategies.
    • Negotiate terms, obtain quotations and place new and renewal business within the London/International markets, including facilities.
    • File maintenance and management including marketing sheets.
    • ECM/critical document/KPI management.

Comply with regulatory and other standards as directed by line management, and be responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company.

Requirements:

  • Good level of technical knowledge and Marine Hull & Construction knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret and use data effectively.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and with network offices.
