About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Court of Protection Lawyer to join our team at Origin Legal Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on all aspects of making decisions regarding the financial, health and welfare-related matters of individuals who are unable to make these decisions themselves due to mental incapacity.

Our client is a modern and progressive top-tier law firm that takes great pride in developing the lawyers that join them.

Based in East London, they have grown substantially over the last 10 years to a turnover of £9m and over 50 fee earners.

The successful candidate will be joining a department of 16 Lawyers, turning over well in excess of £3m in fees.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a law firm that is at an exciting stage of its development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on financial, health and welfare-related matters of individuals who are unable to make decisions themselves due to mental incapacity.
  • Representing clients in court proceedings.
  • Working closely with the department to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Court of Protection work.
  • Ability to provide representation in court proceedings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
