About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Preston. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of SME and limited company clients, overseeing the preparation of accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT returns, and dealing with client queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including SMEs and limited companies
  • Oversee the preparation of accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT returns
  • Deal with client queries and provide support
  • Prepare accounts for review by the partner
  • Oversee junior members of the team and review their work
  • Prepare personal and corporate tax computations/returns
Requirements
  • Qualified ACCA or ACA accountant with a minimum of 4 years' experience
  • Experience working on statutory accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000, depending on experience, as well as flexible working patterns, on-site parking, an annual bonus, and a healthy holiday package.
