We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fleet Van Business Development Executive to join our fast-growing team in the commercial vehicle sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive sales and business growth for one of the leading van brokers in the UK, operating on a national scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development & Sales:
    Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the fleet van customer base. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and conducting market research. Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns that attract new business.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to drive repeat business. Hold regular client meetings to assess fleet performance and discuss future requirements.
  3. Product Knowledge & Consultation:
    Stay informed on the latest van models, fleet management solutions, and industry developments. Provide consultative selling by advising clients on the most suitable fleet solutions for their operational needs. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements to meet both client and company objectives.
  4. Market Research & Analysis:
    Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, the competitive landscape, and growth opportunities. Monitor customer feedback and sales data to refine business development strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
  1. Experience:
    Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the automotive or fleet van sector. A solid understanding of fleet management, leasing, and commercial vehicle requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  2. Knowledge:
    Familiarity with the fleet van and commercial vehicle industry. Knowledge of financing options, leasing models, and operational cost analysis for fleet clients.
  3. Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience managing large fleet accounts. Knowledge of fleet management technology and telematics. A valid driver's license.
