About First Base:
">We are a dynamic company looking for a driven individual to join our team as a Field Service and Training Specialist. Our client offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing technical support, servicing air conditioning units, and delivering City & Guilds training.
">Main Responsibilities:">- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and servicing of air conditioning units to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably.">
- Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning systems to minimise downtime for customers.">
- Installation Checks: Conduct installation checks and commissioning of new air conditioning units.">
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the use and care of their equipment.">
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and maintenance logs.">
- Stock Management: Monitor and maintain stock levels on company vehicles, ensuring all necessary tools and spare parts are available.">
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations during all service activities.">
- Training and Development: Participate in regular training to stay updated on the latest industry practices, equipment, and regulations.">
- Travel and Overnight Stays: Travel to customer sites as required, with occasional overnight stays.">
- Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of air conditioning systems.">
- Qualification: City & Guilds mobile air conditioning qualification or equivalent.">
- Previous Experience: Previous sales experience, ideally in the automotive or agricultural sectors.">
- Networking and Negotiation: Strong networking and negotiation abilities.">
