Business Data Analyst and Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst and Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Atlas Copco. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial data, as well as implementing process improvements to enhance our overall business performance.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional analytical support to our Business Controller, ensuring the timely preparation of financial reports and scorecards. You will also be instrumental in safeguarding our assets, reviewing and improving internal control processes, and analyzing cost and price updates to ensure compliance with Divisional goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Business Controller with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end preparation, reporting, and generation of internal and Group Scorecards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FAM.
  • Safeguard all company assets by reviewing, following up, and improving internal control processes, with a special focus on Stock and WIP, ensuring robust procedures and regular stock checks.
  • Analyze and administer cost (AMP) and price updates (ARP), forecasting changes and comparing them to outcomes to ensure alignment with Divisional targets.
  • Develop and improve outsourced accounts payables functions to ensure authorized costs, proper COGS or FC accounting, and timely supplier payments.
  • Ensure legal, financial, and tax reporting and auditing matters are compliant, minimizing financial exposure.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and internal auditors, developing processes and procedures to assist QSHE in collating records and enhancing customer questionnaires.
  • Liaise with internal suppliers, such as Atlas Copco Business Services, to provide optimal business support.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Flexibility, attention to detail, and understanding of standardized procedures, along with a desire to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Rapid integration into our team, with high levels of performance required.
  • Previous SAP experience is advantageous, and sales office experience would be beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent telephone manner.
