About the Role:

Remedy Recruitment Group is proud to partner with a specialist school in Redbridge, East London, which provides exceptional support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This nurturing environment seeks a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.

This role is ideal for individuals with a background in criminology, psychology, sociology, or healthcare, looking to transition into education. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with children who require additional support and tailored approaches.

  • Setting: Primary - Specialist School
  • Location: Redbridge, East London
  • Contract: Temp-to-perm
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)

Responsibilities:
  • Support children with moderate to severe SEN, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and social interaction challenges.
  • Encourage small achievements, promoting confidence and motivation in every child.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong understanding of SEN and previous experience in a similar role.
  • A passion for working with children with SEN, focusing on helping them excel in a school setting.
Estimated Salary Range:

In line with the UK market average for a Behaviour Mentor in East London, we estimate the salary range to be between £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
