We are seeking a seasoned leader to fill the position of Resettlement Support Team Leader. As a critical member of our management team, you will oversee the daily operations of our Resettlement Support Service, driving excellence in service delivery and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our residents.

\

Reporting directly to the Housing Director, you will leverage your expertise in staff management, policy development, and legislative compliance to optimize our service offerings and adapt to evolving needs. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will facilitate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and the local community.

Main Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance service delivery and resident outcomes.
  • Liaising with government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and resource sharing.
  • Overseeing staff training and development initiatives to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Maintaining accurate records and data to inform service improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and refine policies, procedures, and interventions.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

\
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in social care or related fields.
  • Expertise in staff supervision, appraisal, and development.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, including Housing and Social Care, Equality and Diversity, Mental Health, and Criminal Justice.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess information quickly and make sound judgments.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and form relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary of £37,500 - £42,500 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including annual leave, sick leave, and pension contributions.
