Senior Grants Auditor Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Grants Auditor to join our team in Dundee. As part of our dynamic and collaborative environment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring financial integrity and fostering impactful relationships with grant partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit Planning and Organisation: Plan and organise work on allocated grant audits, utilising your expertise to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Grants Audit Fieldwork: Take responsibility for all aspects of grants audit fieldwork, both remotely and onsite as required, to provide high-quality services to our clients.
  • Communication and Reporting: Keep grant partners updated on progress and draft comprehensive audit reports that meet the highest standards.
  • Training and Guidance: Review and clear trainee fieldwork before final review, while also supporting team members with grant work and providing guidance on project rules.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Development: Participate in training sessions, share knowledge with staff, and contribute to tenders and content creation for our website and LinkedIn presence.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified (CA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent) or part-qualified with relevant practical experience and exam success.
  • Minimum two years of experience in accountancy practice, ideally in audit.
  • Grant audit experience is beneficial but not essential; we offer comprehensive training to support your growth.
  • Strong numerical, data analysis, and communication skills (verbal and written).
