About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and artistic Pastry Chef to join our culinary team at Palé Hall, a luxurious destination for quiet retreat, comfort, and culinary indulgence.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Pastry Chef to create exquisite desserts, breads, pastries, and bakery items to complement our Henry Robertson fine dining menu, the relaxed Huntsman bistro menu, and traditional afternoon tea service.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and prepare exquisite desserts, breads, pastries, and bakery items
  • Work closely with our culinary team to ensure impeccable high standards
  • Take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Meet the demands of a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

Requirements:

  • Industry qualifications and a minimum of two years' experience in the pastry section of a four or five-star high-end establishment
  • Experience in creating pastry confections for fine dining menus and traditional afternoon tea services
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
