About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Enhanced Care Team at Croydon University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients requiring enhanced support and observations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized, tailored care to patients with complex needs
  • Engage patients in therapeutic interventions to improve their care and recovery
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
  • Provide training and support to junior staff and Enhanced Care assistants
  • Contribute to the development of the Enhanced Care Team and the hospital's overall quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Registered with the NMC in the UK or about to register
  • Experience of working with mental health patients, including those with challenging behavior
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a changing environment
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the team's growth and development
