About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Enhanced Care Team at Croydon University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients requiring extra support and enhanced observations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and support patients referred to our service with therapeutic interventions to improve their care and recovery in the hospital.
  • Provide individualized tailored care that contributes towards patients' safety and delivery of the fundamentals of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Support the Dementia Lead Nurse and Head of Nursing in training around mental health awareness for the Enhanced Care assistants in the team.

Requirements

  • Registered with NMC in the UK or about to Register with NMC.
  • Experience of working with mental health, learning disability, and dementia.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Patience and commitment to work within this challenging but rewarding role.
